Many of the houses for sale in this community are located in places that are quite well-suited for those who travel by foot; running common errands is convenient. Central Las Vegas is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the community is served by about 30 bus lines, and bus stops are generally nearby. However, the best method to get around in Central Las Vegas is usually driving. Parking is easy, and it is a rather short car ride to the nearest highway, such as US Highway 95, from anywhere in this community.
The closest supermarket in this community is generally only a rather short walk away. Likewise, Central Las Vegas is a good place in which to eat out, for instance along Decatur Boulevard, and property owners benefit from over 100 cafes as well. A good variety of clothing stores can also be found within a reasonably short walking distance. In terms of education, primary schools are convenient to reach on foot from any location in Central Las Vegas. In contrast, high schools are not very plentiful and accordingly may require an extended walk to get to. Locals are served by public and private schools at both the elementary and high school level.
Central Las Vegas is reasonably quiet, as the streets tend to be quite peaceful - although there are still several louder sections, especially close to the railway line, Interstate 515 or US Highway 95. It is occasionally difficult to get to green spaces in the community since they aren't well-distributed. Still, there are approximately 40 parks nearby for residents to explore.
