Driving is a great transportation option in District 7. It is very easy to find a parking spot. On the other hand, the public transit service in District 7 is not very frequent. Nonetheless, the community is linked by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally relatively close by. Many of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are not very suitable for walking since running common errands is at times difficult on foot.
High schools and primary schools are not especially plentiful in this area, and accordingly not always within walking distance. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools. Regarding eating, some, but not all, property owners in this part of Lexington-Fayette will reside within walking distance of one of around 20 supermarkets. The character of District 7 is exemplified by its calm environment.
