This area will appeal to active people as it is reasonably conducive to walking; many common errands can be run without the use of a car. However, Brookfield Village is not especially suited for biking since there are a fair number of hills to challenge cyclists, and the bicycling network is sometimes poor. Cars are an excellent transportation option in this part of the city. The majority of real estate listings are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Nimitz Freeway, and it is easy to park. However, traveling by public transit is sometimes challenging in Brookfield Village. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighborhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes.
