“Perfect for extended families with two master suites!” Wooded lot of over 1 acre in the established neighborhood of Clearview Heights. A delightful mix of traditional and modern, the original colonial style house received a modern master suite addition in 1990. The neighborhood features an optional, social homeowners’ association that has several parties per year, puts out a digital newsletter and bi-annually, a neighborhood directory. The home features 5 bedrooms, 5 ½ baths, an oversized single car garage and double sized driveway. The front lot is slightly rolling and the wooded back lot drops down to a run off stream. The original house, built in the 1970’s, has an open plan main floor with living room, den, breakfast room, half bath and kitchen. The kitchen features solid wood hickory cabinets and stainless steel appliances including a 5-burner gas cooktop (replaced in 2021), two large, 30” double ovens, and a French door refrigerator. Countertops are Corian – a non-porous, practically indestructible man-made surface. There is also a separate bar sink with an Insta-Hot water faucet. The kitchen is open on one end to the den which features a wood burning fireplace. On the other end, it opens to the breakfast room and out to a sunroom. From the den, you exit into the oversized single car garage which has a pull - down attic stair for more storage. Across the garage is a private office which has its own exterior entrance from the driveway. There is a small deck for grilling or enjoying the woods off the back of the garage. New pathways with steps were added on both sides of the house in 2022. An electric pet fence encloses a large portion of the yard with controls in the garage. Upstairs, the original master suite is a large room running the width of the house. It includes an on-suite bathroom with large, custom built soaking tub. At the other end of the room, sliding glass doors lead out to a small “sunning” balcony at the top of the house looking over the trees. Also on this floor is a second bathroom with tub, and three additional bedrooms. There is a skylight in the large front bedroom and another skylight over the stairs. Wood flooring is featured on the main and upper levels of the whole house. There is a full basement in the main house with a large finished, carpeted room, a second small finished room, a bath with shower and an unfinished utility area with workbench, storage, utility sink, and a washer and dryer. The water heater for the main house was replaced in 2022. The addition comes off the den to the back of the house and has two levels. It can be closed off from the main house with French doors. On the main level is a large room with a wall of windows currently used as a formal dining room. A laundry room leads off this room and two entrances to the master suite. The master suite contains his and hers bathrooms with showers, a sitting room and a walk-in closet. The large (17’ x 17’) bedroom features a wall of floor-to-ceiling wooden windows looking out into the trees. The addition has its own furnace and water heater. Also, in the addition, is the spiral staircase leading to the lower level. On this level, there are two area for exercise equipment, one at the foot of the stairs and one off the pool room that has doors to the exterior. There is also a large room, again with many floor-to-ceiling windows, that contains a Swimex, swim against resistance pool surrounded by a self-draining deck. Great for exercise. Hard wired generator backup for the original section of home. The front of the house is done is cedar siding and features a stone trim. To the right of the house is a small shed.
