There are about 40 bus lines traversing the community, and bus stops are typically nearby. Walking in this part of Atlanta is not very popular, even though many daily errands can be run on foot.
It is convenient to reach the nearest grocery store on foot in Southwestern Atlanta. A small number of restaurants and coffee shops are available as well. In terms of education, in Southwestern Atlanta, locals will generally be able to reach primary schools by walking. In contrast, high schools are not particularly plentiful and thus not always within walking distance. Southwestern Atlanta is a good community to buy a home in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere.
